After months of fundraising by Templefield Lower School’s PTA to help fund an outdoor play equipment project, a wonderful trim trail and bespoke dinosaur nest climber have been installed for the children at Templefield Lower to enjoy.
The trim trail, including a suspension bridge, rock traverse wall, balance beams and drop traverse ropes and dinosaur nest climber, with it’s exciting spider’s web, sparks the children’s imagination whilst offering challenging physical activity.
The play equipment is surrounded by bonded rubber mulch safety surfacing which enables the children to safely play on the equipment all year round.
Headteacher Debbie Trivett said “ We are delighted with the outcome of this project. Our PTA have worked incredibly hard to raise funds for this project and have held discos, cake sales, quiz nights a Christmas fayre and mufti days which have all been hugely successful and really well supported. Staff and Governors worked closely with local company, Setter Play Ltd, to produce exciting play equipment which all of our children can enjoy.”
