Did you know that Templefield Lower School has a walking bus?

The route presently starts at Canterbury Road, continues through Beaumont Park, to the 'Bus Stop' in the school playground.

We’re always looking for new passengers from Foundation to year 4! Not sure if it’s for you? Well give us a try! These are the reasons we joined:

1. Environmentally friendly - reducing road congestion
2. Health and fitness
3. Road safety awareness and pedestrian skills
4. Teaching of independence
5. Developing new friendships (for Mums and children!)

As an added bonus you don’t need to walk with your child every day - you could have a morning off knowing that your child will be delivered to their classroom by a CRB checked volunteer!

And finally, new routes can always be added, so don’t let that deter you!

Speak to the school office if you would like to join the bus, or if you would like to be part of a new bus in your area!
